On the 31st of May we will be suspending our response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. This is due to the fact that there are agencies and entities better equipped and better resourced in place dealing with the tasks we were undertaking and the tasks we remained on standby for. We will continue to signpost members of the public who contact us to the appropriate agencies. We will also leave certain assets in place should we need to reverse this decision at short notice.
We do not know when we will be resuming our normal duties in the night time economy but will only do so when it is safe for our service users and volunteers and in consultation with our police and local authority partners.
From the 1st of June we will begin work to create a road-map for our return to normal duties as well as making some adjustments to our internal mechanisms and undertaking other outstanding housekeeping duties.
We would like to thank you all for your support, kind words and encouragement throughout this national emergency. We hope that we have conducted ourselves in a manner befitting of the trust that you the community have placed in us. We hope that we have met your expectations.
If you have any questions, queries or comments please do let us know. We will continue to update you with our progress as we move forward.
Please stay safe.
