INDIA PROTOCOL SERVICE DELIVERY
Recent instances of 'mission creep' have seen our officers working outside of our priority India Protocol service delivery, rendering them unavailable to respond to India Protocol incidents or to engage in proactive India Protocol patrols.
In order to reduce the frequency our officers deal with non-India Protocol events we have implemented two operational changes, effective immediately.
We have reduced our 'first-aid first responder' capacity and we have implemented a 'strategic service block' for our response team. These changes will free up resources to better engage both proactively and reactively with India Protocol events and incidents.
We will continue to carry an automated external defibrillator, Naloxone and basic first-aid equipment whilst on-duty.
